Duel is a game show that combines elements of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire with high stakes poker-style play. Contestants are required to not only answer trivia questions, but also to wager, bluff, and gamble their way to the top.
The Application
Duel is no longer airing, so casting has been halted. This article will be updated in the event the show returns.
Eligibility Requirements
These are some of the requirements must be met by any potential contestant – for the complete list and description, please see the form itself.
- Contestants must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States
- You must be available for up to two weeks to commit to the show
- You must not be a candidate for public office, nor become a candidate for one year after the date on which your episode originally airs
- You must never have been convicted of a felony
They're looking for people with a mind for trivia, fun facts, and knowledge of pop culture as well as those with "confidence, charisma, and the ability to out game your opponents under pressure."
Note that, by submitting an application, you're giving the producers of the show permission to conduct background checks to verify that the information you supply is true and correct.

Filling Out the Application
Take your time and answer all of the questions on the application form. There are some interesting ones here, for example:
- If you were a rat in a maze of mirrors, would you more likely get dizzy and accept defeat or would you overcome the task?
- If the local news channel decided to do a story on you today, what would they report?
- What groups or teams do you or have you belonged to since high school? Feel free to brag if you excelled in any one area. We like bragging.
