Million Dollar Password Preview

The password is ... Regis! This Sunday marks the premiere of Million Dollar Password, hosted by none other than Regis Philbin. Philbin and Executive Producer Vincent Rubino were recently on hand to speak with reporters and preview the show, and they were full of excitement and enthusiasm for the game.

It helps to know that both are fans of Password, and that even though there are changes in store, they "tried really hard not to mess it up." The game is a classic, and I know that many fans, myself included, were a bit apprehensive about the new prime time version. From the sounds of it though, it's still the same game we all know and love, and the changes that were made will enhance the game for "modern audiences," mostly by speeding up the game play.

I was already really looking forward to this show, partly because Regis Philbin has proven time and again to be a wonderfully engaging host. After hearing the obvious enthusiasm from Philbin and Rubino, I can hardly wait until Sunday! The premiere episode airs Sunday June 1st at 8pm on CBS, and will feature celebrities Neil Patrick Harris and Rachel Ray. In the meantime, check out these previews of the show:
