I have a confession to make: I love celebrity editions of game shows. The rules are a little more lax, the hosts seem to have a good time, and there's just something fun about watching familiar faces compete for money that will be donated to charity. Two big game shows, Wheel of Fortune and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, both have celeb-studded episodes coming up in November.Wheel of Fortune, which is celebrating its 25th year, will be running the "People Celebrity Week" from November 12-16. Spinning the wheel and buying vowels will be: Alison Sweeney (pictured, Days of Our Lives), Gina Tognoni (Guiding Light), Jacob Young (All My Children), Montel Williams, Sherri Shepherd (The View), Kristan Cunningham (HGTV), Paula Deen, Sandra Dee (Food Network), Diane Neal (Law and Order: SVU), Robert Gossett (The Closer), Steve Schirripa (The Sopranos), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Paige Hemmis (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), and Jeff Probst (Survivor).
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? will run celebrity episodes during the entire month of November. Some of the famous faces we'll see are: Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler (American Idol), Tony Hawk, Regis Philbin, and Billy Bush.
