The only thing you really, really need to be successful at this game is a steady hand. Roll a raw egg around a flat pan to collect stickers and avoid getting egg all over your shoes.
The Goal
Picture a pan with no sides that has three strategically placed upside-down stickers on it. Now imagine yourself rolling a raw egg around this pan to collect the stickers on the egg. You're not dreaming, you're playing Sticker Picker Upper.
Equipment Needed
Sticker Picker Upper is fairly simple to set up and play. Here's what you'll need to have on hand:
- One flat pizza pan or other tray with no sides
- Raw egg, one per player
- Stickers, three per player (they use plain red circles on the show, but use whatever you want)
- Two small tables of equal height
- A timer or stop-watch
How to Play
Fortunately, there's not much setup involved with this game. Place the stickers with their sticky side facing up on the tray. On the show they arrange the stickers in a triangle pattern so that contestants have to move the egg around quite a bit - do this for adult players, but if kids are playing give them a chance and put the stickers closer together. Place the tray between the two tables (resting on the tables) so that the player can pick it up using one hand. Place the egg in the center of the tray, making sure that it's not going to roll off before the game even gets started.
When the timer begins, the player can pick up the tray with one hand and start rolling the egg around to pick up all of the stickers. To win, all three stickers must be attached to the egg and the egg must still be whole and on top of the tray. And of course you must accomplish all of this in 60 seconds or less.
The Rules
Oh you bet there are rules for a tricky game like this one! Here they are.
- You may only touch the tray with one hand at any point during the game, and you may not switch hands by placing the tray back on the tables.
- You may not touch the egg or the stickers at all, with any part of your body.
- If the egg falls to the floor, you've got a big mess to clean up and the game is over.
Tips and Tricks
There are really no tricks to this game - you just need to tilt the tray slowly and carefully. Remember that the egg will gain momentum and that it rolls in an irregular pattern due to its shape, so try to keep as much control over the whole situation as you can.

Changes and Adjustments
If you want to include Sticker Picker Upper as part of your Minute to Win It party game repertoire, you can certainly make some changes to it so that it fits the theme of your gathering. This game is perfect as is for an Easter party, since you're using an egg and it ends up decorated.
Use themed stickers, like Christmas trees for a Christmas game or pumpkins for Halloween.
For young kids, use a pizza tray or baking sheet that has sides to make the game a bit easier. You might also want to opt for hard-boiled eggs in this case, since they're bound to get dropped.
