Definition:
Jump the Question appears for the first time during the 2010-2011 season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Two of these lifelines are available to each contestant, and can be played right up until the final question, during which no lifelines may be used.
This lifeline works just as it sounds: after a contestant sees his or her question, he or she can choose to skip the question and move on in the game. The downside to using this one is that all prize money associated with the question is forfeited.
