Randy West is a true game show fan, having been a successful contestant on several shows before becoming an announcer. He mentored under legendary Price is Right announcer Johnny Olson, and honored Olson by authoring the book Johnny Olson: A Voice in Time.
West has himself worked on The Price is Right as well as numerous other game shows including Supermarket Sweep, Trivial Pursuit, and GSN's version of The Newlywed Game. His body of work also includes a number of talk shows such as The Chuck Woolery Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live, voicing the character Mr. Game Show in the Game Show Moments Gone Bananas series, and years of radio work.
