Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza is an unscripted comedy show airing on GSN. The show tapes live in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, and features a familiar lineup of comedians.
Hosting the show, of course, is Drew Carey, current host of The Price is Right and former host of the improv hit Whose Line Is It Anyway? Improv-A-Ganza seems to pick up where Whose Line left off, which is great news for fans.
This photo was taken during the January 16th, 2011 taping of the show. Charlie Sheen made an unscheduled appearance, adding to the already stellar lineup on that night. The crew is playing a story game, in which each person adds their own unscripted line to an ongoing story, hopefully with funny results. However, if you were a regular viewer of Whose Line Is It Anyway? you've likely got the Hoedown tune in your head right now after seeing this picture!
In this photo, from left to right, are: Colin Mochrie, Drew Carey, Charlie Sheen, Greg Proops, Chip Esten, Jeff Davis, and Ryan Stiles. Sheen is the only one in the lineup who isn't a Whose Line alum.
Other stars appearing on Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza include Kathy Kinney who starred alongside Carey on The Drew Carey Show, Brad Sherwood who also appeared on Whose Line, Sean Masterson who appeared on Drew Carey's Green Screen Show, Jonathan Mangum who is currently the announcer on Let's Make a Deal and also appeared on Green Screen, and newcomer Heather Anne Campbell. There's also a familar face in the announcer's booth - none other than Rich Fields, Carey's former announcer on The Price is Right.
Improv-A-Ganza premieres April 11th 2011, at 8pm Eastern on GSN.
