The Hub: Family Game Night Premiere, Two Sneak-Previews

By September 2, 2011

Follow me on:

The Hub is offering up some fun programming this weekend! First, Family Game Night premieres its second season tonight with two new one-hour episodes, one at 7pm and the second at 8pm Eastern. The show will include some really fun new games, including Simon Flash and Operation Sam Dunk - you can learn more about the new games and see photos of them in action in our Family Game Night season 2 primer.

Then, on Saturday September 3rd, you can catch a sneak preview of two new Hub game shows. The Game of Life features some neat effects as two families compete on a life-sized Life board, complete with little cars and the big spinner, and hosted by Frank Nicotero. Scrabble Showdown is hosted by Justin Willman, and is of course based on word games - families compete to win prizes including vacations. Both new programs are 30 minutes in length. The Game of Life will preview on Saturday at 4pm Eastern, then move to its regular time slot on September 17th at 6pm. Scrabble Showdown previews Saturday at 6:30pm Eastern before moving to its regular time slot on September 17th, at 6:30pm.

Another addition to The Hub's fall schedule is Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? - these will be the syndicated shows (not new episodes), and will begin airing on September 19th at 8:00 and 8:30pm Eastern.

Don't forget to gather the family, grab some popcorn, and catch some fun game show action this long weekend!
