The five lucky finalists in Wheel of Fortune's Vanna For A Day contest have been selected, and voting is now open for viewers to choose their favorite.

The finalists have the chance to fly out to L.A., "to stay in a suite at a luxury hotel, and receive the star treatment from Vanna's own wardrobe mistress, hair stylist, and make-up artist before joining Pat Sajak on the Wheel of Fortune stage at Sony Pictures Studios." Now that's a prize, my friends.

The five finalists, who were selected from over 1,000 entries, are:
  • Katie C. from Wooster, OH
  • Samantha M. from San Francisco, CA
  • Anna H. from Friendswood, TX
  • Barbara V. from Hermitage, TN
  • Shenette H. from Jacksonville, FL
You can view all the video submissions and vote once per day at WheelofFortune.com/vannaforaday. Voting closes on February 7th. Good luck to all of the finalists!

I voted for Katie. It was obvious that she had put thought into her video that tied into what wheel of Fortune was about and showed a charming and fun personality. I think the other candidates were good but not outstanding and there was another that was just trying to sell herself. Yep, Katie deserves to be Vanna for the day. Way to go Katie!!! Oh and just to make it clear I have never met Katie. Cyn, a nurse from MO

We, my husband Jack and I, were watching Wheel as we do every day. He made such a cute comment, that I wanted to pass it along to you. He said that the contestant who won the Vanna finalist should request being able to pick the day herself. I, of course, commented that I was sure that wouldn’t be possible, then he said that if it were possible for her to choose, she should choose ‘payday.’
