By now we know that GSN is putting out a new dating show called Baggage, and that the host for this one will be Jerry Springer. As I mentioned earlier, the setup and rules surrounding this show were fuzzy, since the casting calls claimed that contestants didn't have to be single, and there would be no actual dating involved.Yesterday I was in touch with one of the casting directors for Baggage, Valerie Penso, to clarify things a little. As it turns out, you do indeed have to be single to be on the show, and those who apply who aren't single will be sent away. Penso said that the "wording was incorrect" in the initial casting calls, and those calls have been pulled. Also, the "winners" will receive a date ("for two") as their prize on the show.
Since I had her ear, I asked Penso what exactly the casting staff was looking for in a potential contestant. "We are looking for outgoing singles who can have fun talking about their relationship 'baggage.' A tip for those who want to apply: Be open and have fun with your 'baggage,' we all have some."
Every person who appears on the show will get $500, so if you're single and want to give it a go, you can contact bdgcasting@gmail.com for more details. Baggage will debut on GSN on April 19th at 6:30pm Eastern.

Did anyone notice the Sunday that aired March 21st for Level 5, the contestant Ley-Ley could see through her goggles?
In the close up camera shot just before her first attempt her eyes were visible through the goggles. If we can see in, she could see out. She failed in this attempt and then was amazing in her second attempt…
I am assuming they are interviewing heterosexuals only.
Michael – actually, no. They’re also looking for gay contestants.
