Deal or No Deal Now Casting

Thursday June 11, 2009
Now, let's make this very clear right from the start: this is the daytime, half-hour, syndicated version of Deal or No Deal that we're talking about here. The prime time show has been canceled, at least as a regular series.

Here's the news that many of you have been waiting for! Deal is now casting, and the shows will be recorded in the new studio, located in Connecticut. Head over to the official site at Endemol USA, where you'll notice that things have been updated, and it now mentions the new location at the top. The troubles people were having with submitting the form seem to have been resolved. Our friend Chad Mosher also noticed this ad on Craigslist, which mentions a one million dollar prize. Interesting!

It's a simple and straight-forward application, but take some time to craft your answers, check your spelling, and try your best to make a good impression! I have no details on when filming will actually begin, but it should be soon. We'll report with the details as soon as they start trickling in.

Good luck!

Thank you so much Carrie and Chad, I just submitted my previously prepared application. I’m so glad also that they are increasing the amount from 500,000 to 1 Million because I’ve been watching both the Syndicated version and the Prime Time reruns and I discoverd the main and really only reason I enjoy the Prime Time version more is because of the higher money amounts create more drama.

I called the Endemol USA company at 310-860-9914 to see if they could give us an address. She said for me to call back tomorrow if I don’t hear from anyone. Maybe if we all call that number, we will get an address for the Buffalo, New York vip casting call location. Diane

(16) gameshows says:

I just tried the submission form, and my application went through just fine. What browser are you using, Abiola? I’m using Firefox 3.0.12 and it seems to work.

Try a different browser and see if that doesn’t do the trick. And make sure you copy your answers into a text program (Notepad, Word, etc) so you don’t lose them, just in case!

Let me know how it goes.

Hi! I am supposed to be going to the casting call in CT on August 20th. It says TBA but does anyone know any details? I am soooo excited and my boyfriend and I are taking the day off and want to make sure it is still on for that day. Also, does anyone know if we fill out the application can we bring it with us that day or do we have to submit it head of time? I had no idea the show moved to CT but I wouldn’t care if it moved to India I’d still watch and still find a way to get there to audition haha. Good luck to you all who have auditioned and have gotten a call back! I am so happy for you. Thanks for any help anyone can give me! :)

Hi Suz – sounds like you’re excited!

I’ve got the information on the CT casting call on August 20th right here:

Deal or No Deal Open Casting Call in Connecticut

You’ll get all the paperwork you’ll need at the call, but make sure you take plenty of I.D. with you.

Best of luck – let us know how it goes!

Hi! Also, do you know or anyone know how many hours prior to the time scheduled I should go? I am going to be staying over at a hotel the night before because I am coming from NJ and I want to be there early but how early should i go? Any help is really appreciated!!!

August 3, 2009 at 12:12 pm
(21) gameshows says:

Hey Suz – sounds like you’ve got everything figured out, but just for the record, you don’t need to submit the online application if you’ll be attending the open casting call. :-)

I really don’t know how early you need to be there, but I would err on the side of caution and get there as early as you can. I’m pretty sure there will be LOTS of people lining up!

Again, good luck!

(22) Suz says:

Hi GameshowS!! Thank you so much for writing back and helping me. I did submit the application last night but I don’t think it will do any harm..I will just fill one out when I get there :) I may bring a ciopy of the one I sent because I liked my answers and I may be nervous and forget them like a dork. It says the auditions iare from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm so I think I may go about 7:00 am. Think it is too early? Can you tell I am so excited? If any of you are there shout Hi Suz to me! haha Thanks again for all the help!

How do you obtain a VIP pass for an audtion. I am going to the open casting call at Foxwoods in 2 weeks and I cannot wait. I already put in a application in online as well. Any suggestions, tips or connections you may have??

Hi Marla..I am going to Foxwoods too! I put in an application too but someone on this blog said we have to fill one out there as well. I am bringing a copy of the one I filled out with me so I don’t forget anything. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a VIP! I hope soneone answers because I would love to know that as well. Hi! I have a question (again!) haha. Is it better to go to the casting call and fill out an application there or to fill one out on here and get a VIP e-mail? Or both? Let me know what you think. Thanks so much!!! Any help is truly appreciated. :)
