Even though only six announcers have been given the nod here (and I have to assume that's because this is one of those categories that's only considering active nominees), it's still a tough choice for a vote. After a lot of consideration, I think my vote goes to Rich Fields, who has been featured a lot more lately on The Price is Right, and really does round out the cast nicely. But it's really a touch call!
The Game Show Awards is actually taping on Saturday, and there's still time to get tickets if you'll be anywhere near Beverly Hills tomorrow. The air date for the show is June 6th. We'll have some coverage of the awards, including photos from the red carpet and a report on the proceedings, courtesy of Alex Purnell, who is attending the event on my behalf.
