Let the Syndicated Game Shows Begin!
Sunday September 7, 2008
It's been a long summer of reruns for fans of syndicated and daytime game shows, but all that is about to change. Monday September 8th brings us a schedule full of brand new episodes of our favorites, as well as some newcomers.Returning game shows include:
- Family Feud, celebrating its tenth season in syndication.
- Jeopardy!, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season starting off with a Kids Week reunion special.
- Wheel of Fortune with a brand new $1,000,000 wedge on the big wheel.
- Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, which will have some new game elements as well as cosmetic changes.
- Deal or No Deal in syndication, which is 30 minutes long, with 2 models, 22 cases, and a $500,000 top prize, among other major differences from the prime time version.
- Inside the Box, which isn't exactly a new show per se, but it's new to many American markets. This is the Canadian game show replacing Crosswords, which has been put on hiatus.
Check your local listings for times and network information, since syndicated shows air at different times in different cities.
