Ashlee Register Wins $1,795,000 on "Duel"

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our first Duel winner! Ashlee Register, "The Nurse," won almost two million dollars on Sunday night, becoming one of the highest-winning game show contestants ever.
Register beat out Robert Elswick, "The Used Car Salesman," in the final duel, earning the $1,720,000 jackpot that had been growing with each round. She banked $35,000 during her first duel, plus an additional $40,000 during her final duel with Elswick. That brings her total to a whopping $1,795,000.
It's too early to know if Duel will return next season, but with such a fast-paced and exciting finale, it was definitely a fun game to watch this week. Things picked up as the week went on, with contestants pushing their luck, bluffing as much as they could, and continuing with a wide variety of questions that were enjoyable to play along with at home.

Hi, thanks for the report on Ashlee Register!!! She is my Niece. The Jackpot was actually $1,720,000. Her original winnings were $35,000 which she increased to $75,000 after beating Robert, bringing the total to $1,795,000!!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!!
