NBC announced today that Deal or No Deal will be going into national syndication starting in the fall of 2008. This will be in addition to the hour-long shows that currently air twice weekly on NBC.Host Howie Mandel will be staying with the show, which will introduce a half-hour format and air weeknights on a wide variety of local affiliate networks. The show has been sold to markets including those owned by NBC, CBS, Sinclair, Allbritton, and Scripps. Also along for the syndicated version of the show are the Banker, the models, and the entire Deal or No Deal production team.
In true Mandel style, the host of Deal quipped, "My wife could not be more thrilled to have me out of the house and at work Monday through Friday." I'm sure viewers will be thrilled to welcome Mandel into our homes Monday through Friday!
